Configuring the Switch Mode and Share Mode

You can use the Switch window to set one of the two following Switch modes:
Preemptive (the default setting) enables the other user to select any server at any time; a request
from the other user disconnects the current user without warning.
Cooperative maintain the current user connection; the current user is not disconnected if the
other user requests connection.
From the Switch window you can also enable or disable Share mode and specify a time-out period.
Share mode allows two users to access a primary server.
Accessing the Switch window

Access the Setup window. If needed, see "Accessing the Setup window" on page 30.
