6. Install a new NiCad battery pack (PM9086) or new
alkaline (C Cell) batteries (type KR27/50 or R14) as
shown in Figure 8.1.
Ensure that the NiCad battery pack charging contact is
aligned in the battery compartment as shown in Figure 8.1.
Use only the PM9086 NiCad battery pack.
7. Reinstall the battery cover and secure the two
screws.
