Operating other
manufacturers'
products
By changing the transmittable signals, you can use the
supplied remote control to operate other manufacturers'
products.
• Refer also to the manuals supplied with the other products.
• To operate those components with the remote control, first you
need to set the manufacturers' codes each for the TV, VCR,
STB, and DVD player.
• After replacing batteries of the remote control, set the
manufacturers' codes again.
• All the functions may not be assigned to the buttons in some
equipment.

Press and hold STANDBY/ON

Press TV.

Enter the manufacturer's code using buttons
1 – 9, and 0.
See "Manufacturers' codes for TV" on the right.

Release STANDBY/ON
Now, you can perform the following operations on the TV.
TV VOLUME +/–:
Adjust the volume on the TV.
TV/VIDEO:
Change the input mode (either TV or
VIDEO).
After pressing TV, you can perform the following operations on
the TV.
STANDBY/ON
Turn on or off the TV.
TV/STB:
CHANNEL +/–:
Change the channel numbers.
1 – 9, 0, 100+ (+10):
Select the channel numbers.
See the instructions supplied with the TV for details.

After pressing TV, try to operate your TV by
pressing STANDBY/ON
When your TV turns on or off, you have entered the correct
code.
If more than one code is listed for your brand of TV, try each
one until the correct one is entered.
