    VENT-FREE RADIANT FLAME ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLING HEATER Tools Required: • Phillips screwdriver • 5/16" hex wrench • slotted screwdriver Removing Front Panel Of Heater Remove two screws near bottom cor- ners of front panel with Phillips screw- driver. Pull bottom of front panel forward, then down (see Figure 2) .
  • Page 5 ASSEMBLY Continued Assembling and Attaching Brass Trim 1. Remove packaging from three remain- ing pieces of brass trim. 2. Locate four brass screws, two adjust- ing plates with set screws, and two shims in the hardware packet. 3. Align shim under adjusting plate as shown in Figure 6.

Locating Thermostat Sensing Bulb Remove front panel of heater (see Fig- ure 2, page 4). Locate thermostat sensing bulb just under burner assembly.

    VENT-FREE RADIANT FLAME OPERATING HEATER Continued THERMOSTAT CONTROL OPERATION The thermostatic control used on this heater differs from standard thermostats. Standard thermostats simply turn on and off the burner. The thermostat used on this heater senses the room temperature. The thermostat adjusts the amount of gas flow to the burner.
