Is the battery connected correctly? Is there still enough distilled
water in the cells?
Fix your fuel tank and open its vent. (If portable tank)
Turn on your main electrical switch.
After you have carried out the above checks, you can start the engine as
described in your engine's owner's manual.

8.2. ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

Check the battery and electrical system before your trip. If you have to
change something in the electrical system, you have to separate the
battery from the system at first.
If your battery does not have enough charge for starting the engine, you
should charge it on land. It is allowed to charge the batteries on board,
only if the boat is equipped with a suitable appliance – a battery charger.
Grease/lubricate poles of your battery to prevent corrosion and spark.
For further and detailed information please read the operating instructions
of the respective equipment manufacturer (s).
8.2.A. ALTERNATING CURRENT ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
If an alternating current electrical system is installed in your boat, please
read the following in instructions carefully.
Do not modify the craft's electrical systems or relevant drawings.
Installation, alterations and maintanance should be performed by a
competent marine electrical technician. Inspect the system at least
biennially.

Disconnect shore-power connections when the system is not in
use.
Connect
appliances to the protective conductor system in the craft (green or
white with a yellow stripe conductor).
Use double insulated or grounded (earthed) electrical appliances.
If the reverse polarity indicator is activated, do not use the
electrical system. Correct the polarity fault before activating the
electrical system on the craft.)
Do not allow the shore-power cable end to hang in the water. An electrical
field can be caused which can cause injury or death to nearby swimmers.
To minimize shock and fire hazards
Turn off craft's shore-power connection switch before

Connect shore-power cable to craft's inlet before

Disconnect shore-power cable at shore-power source first.

Close shore-power inlet cover tightly.
