SYMPTOM
POWER
Can't turn on the
camera.
REVIEWING PICTURES

Display displays a
black screen.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
POSSIBLE
CAUSE
Didn't hold the
ON/OFF/SELECT button
long enough.
Battery was not
installed correctly.
Battery is dead or
weak.
Battery compartment
was not closed
properly.
Camera is in "Auto
Power Off" mode.
Battery dead or weak.
Battery was not
installed correctly.
Review switch is not
fully in the review
position.
There are no pictures
stored.
POSSIBLE
SOLUTION
Hold the
ON/OFF/SELECT button
for approx. 2 seconds.
Install battery correctly.
Replace battery.
Close the battery
compartment properly.
Turn power on.
Replace battery.
Install battery correctly.
Slide the Review
switch towards the
shutter button until
the Review position is
engaged.
Take pictures in the
Capture mode, and
then switch to Review
mode again to view
pictures.
