Using the Face Self-Timer

To take a photo that includes the photographer, such a group photo,
compose the shot, and press the shutter button. The camera will shoot two
seconds after you enter the shot and it detects your face (p. 78).
Changing the number of shots
For the screen in Step 1, press the l button, then press the qr
buttons to change the number of shots. Press the m button to accept the
setting.
Even if your face is not detected after joining the subjects, the shutter will
release approximately 15 seconds later.

Follow Steps 1 – 2 on p. 55 and choose ".
Compose the shot and press the

shutter button halfway.
Make sure a green frame appears on the
face focused on and white frames appear on
other faces.
Press the shutter button fully.

The camera will enter shooting stand-by,
and [Look straight at camera to start count
down] will appear on the screen.
The lamp will blink and the self-timer sound
will play.
Join the subjects and look at the

camera.
When the camera detects a new face, the
lamp and sound will speed up (the lamp
remains lit when the flash will fire), and two
seconds later the shutter will release.
To cancel the countdown after the timer has
started, press the p button.
