REMOVING THE REAR-VIEW
MIRRORS
Carefully read p. 37 (MAINTENANCE).
Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
N O T E
T h e r e a r - v i e w m i r r o r s a r e
threaded:
– on the right (left mirror);
– on the left (right mirror).
In case of accidental impact, the rear-view
mirror will rotate backwards, thus reducing
the width of the vehicle. To move the mirror
back to its initial position, rotate it in the
opposite direction until reaching the end of
stroke; if necessary, adjust the nut (2).
CAUTION
Hold the rear-view mirror (1), to prevent
it from accidentally falling down.

Unscrew and remove the rear-view
mirror (1) (anticlockwise rotation for the
left mirror and clockwise rotation for the
right mirror).
Upon reassembly:
Screw the mirror (1) by giving it at least
three turns (clockwise rotation for the left
mirror and anticlockwise rotation for the
right mirror).
Position the mirror (1) in such a way as
to improve visibility as much as possible.
Lock the mirror (1) in its position by
adjusting the stop nut (2) (clockwise
rotation for the left nut, anticlockwise
rotation for the right nut).
NOTE
The right stop nut is provided with
a line that distinguishes it from the left nut.

REMOVING THE FRONT COVER

Carefully read p. 37 (MAINTENANCE).
Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
Unscrew and remove the screws (3).
CAUTION
Proceed with care.
Do not damage the tabs and/or their
seats.
H a n d l e t h e p l a s t i c a n d p a i n t e d
c o m p o n e n t s w i t h c a r e a n d a v o i d
scraping or damaging them.
Remove the front cover (4) by pulling it
downwards.
CAUTION
Upon reassembly, fit the tabs correctly
in the appropriate seats.
