Rest the vehicle on its centre
stand.
•
Make sure the ignition switch is
set to «OFF»
•
Lift the saddle.
•
Undo and remove the screw
«1».
•
Remove the battery cover «2».
NOTE
UPON REFITTING, INSERT THE TAB
«3» CORRECTLY IN ITS SLOT.
(MC125) MODEL
•
Remove the battery partially.
At this stage (MC50, MC125)
•
Check that the terminals «7» of
the cables and the battery leads
«8» are:
- in good conditions (not corroded or cov-
ered by deposits);
- covered by a special grease or petrole-
um jelly.
If necessary:
•
Make sure the ignition switch is
set to «OFF».
•
Disconnect the negative lead (-)
first and then the (red) positive
lead (+).
•
Brush with a metal bristle brush
to remove all signs of corrosion.

Plaats het voertuig op de cen-
trale standaard.
•
Controleer of de ontstekings-
schakelaar zich in positie
«OFF» bevindt.
•
Hef het zadel op.
•
Draai de bout «1» los en verwij-
der ze.
•
Verwijder het accudeksel «2».

BIJ DE HERMONTAGE MOET HET LI-
PJE «3» CORRECT IN DE SPECIALE
ZIT GEPLAATST WORDEN.
VERSIE (MC125)
•
Verwijder de accu gedeeltelijk.
Voer nu het volgende uit (MC50,
MC125)
•
Controleer of de terminals «7»
van de kabels en de klemmen
«8» van de accu:
- zich in goede condities bevinden (en
niet verroest zijn of bedekt zijn met afzet-
tingen);
- bedekt zijn met neutraal vet of vaseline.
Indien nodig:
•
Controleer of de ontstekings-
schakelaar zich in positie
«OFF» bevindt.
•
Maak eerst de negatieve kabel
(-) en daarna de positieve kabel
(rood) (+) los.
