ZyWALL IDP 10 User's Guide
The following table describes the fields in this screen.
LABEL
SNMP Configuration
Get Community
This is the "password" for the incoming Get and GetNext requests from the management
station.
Set Community
This is the "password" for incoming Set requests from the management station.
Trap Community
Type the trap community, which is the password sent with each trap to the SNMP
manager.
Destination
Type the IP address of the station to which SNMP traps are sent.
Server Access
Select the interface(s) through which a computer may access the ZyWALL using this
service. Define the rule for server access by selecting from the drop-down menu.
Options are LAN + MGMT, WAN + MGMT, MGMT, ALL and Disable.
Secure Client IP
A secure client is a "trusted" computer that is allowed to communicate with the ZyWALL
using this service. Select All to allow any computer to access the ZyWALL using this

service. Choose Selected to just allow the computer with the IP address that you specify
to access the ZyWALL using this service.
Apply
Click this button to save your changes back to the ZyWALL.
Reset
Click this button to begin configuring this screen afresh.

Unlike Telnet or FTP, which transmit data in clear text, SSH (Secure Shell) is a secure communication
protocol that combines authentication and data encryption to provide secure encrypted communication
between two hosts over an unsecured network.
