Adjusting Brightness and Contrast

You can adjust the overall brightness of the image (brightness), and the intensity range between the lightest and
darkest parts of the image (contrast).
To adjust the brightness and contrast of an image, follow the procedure below.

From the [Filter] menu in the [Image Edit] window, select [Brightness &
Contrast].
The edit setting panel shows the [Brightness & Contrast] options.

Drag the [Brightness] slider to adjust the brightness of the image.

Drag the [Contrast] slider to adjust the contrast of the image.
Tips
• You can also click the edit box and directly enter a value using the keyboard. Press the Return key after entering a
value.
• Values can range from -100 to +100.

Click the [Apply] button.
The brightness and contrast of the image in the image display area are adjusted.
