CAUTION: To prevent loss of work or system lockup, stop a
PC Card before removing it.
1. If the system is on:

2. To release the PC Card, press the PC Card eject button 1 .
3. Gently pull out the card 2 .

In Windows XP Professional, select the Safely Remove
Hardware icon in the taskbar, then select the PC Card you
want to remove. A message is displayed when the card
can be safely removed.
In Windows 2000 Professional, select the Unplug or
Eject Hardware icon in the taskbar, then select the
PC card you want to remove. A message is displayed
when the card can be safely removed.
