  • Page 8 Insert the CERC card firmly into the expansion-card connector on the riser board until the card is fully seated, being careful not to disconnect the riser board from the system board. See Figure 1-6. F i g u r e 1 - 6 . I n s t a l l i n g t h e C E R C C a r d PCI slot 1 CERC card...
  • Page 9 Attach the blower assembly and fan assembly connectors to the three-pin connectors on the system board. See Figure 1-2 and Figure 1-3. Replace the cooling shroud. See Figure 1-2. Ensure that you did not leave tools or parts inside the system. Place the cover over the sides of the chassis, and slide the cover forward until it snaps into place.
  • Page 10 Install the replacement converter board: Align the holes in the board with the guide pins on the bottom of the chassis, lower the board into the system, and slide the board forward 1 cm (0.5 inch). Replace the two screws that you removed in step 8. Install the replacement power supply by inserting the guide pins on the power supply into the guide-pin slots on the chassis, lowering the power supply into the chassis, and then pushing the power supply toward the front of the system.
  • Page 11 Connect the power-supply cable to the converter board. Replace the plastic insert that you removed in step 5. Plug the power cable into the receptacle on the system’s back panel. Replace the system cover, reconnect the system and peripherals to the electrical outlet, and turn on the system.

  • Page 30 Insérez fermement la carte CERC dans le connecteur de carte d'extension sur la carte de montage jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit correctement installée.   • Page 31 Connectez les deux modules aux connecteurs à trois broches de la carte système. Voir la Figure 3-2 et la Figure 3-3. Remplacez le dissipateur de chaleur. Voir la Figure 3-2. Assurez-vous de ne pas avoir laissé de pièces ou d'outils à l'intérieur du système. Placez le capot au-dessus du châssis et faites-le coulisser vers l'avant jusqu'à...
  • Page 32 Installez la carte convertisseur de rechange : Alignez les trous de la carte avec les guides situés au fond du châssis, abaissez la carte dans le système et faites-la avancer d'un centimètre environ. Remettez en place les deux vis retirées à l'étape 8. Installez le module d'alimentation de rechange en insérant les guides du module dans les connecteurs du châssis.
  • Page 33 Connectez le câble du module d'alimentation à la carte convertisseur. Remettez en place le cache en plastique retiré à l'étape 5. Branchez le câble d'alimentation dans le logement prévu à cet effet dans le panneau arrière du système. Remettez en place le capot, reliez le système et les périphériques à une source d'alimentation électrique et mettez le système sous tension.
