Reading Progress and Page Numbers

When you are reading, your
represents your reading progress through the entire book.
Two page numbers are displayed to the right of the reading progress bar: the current page number
and the total number of pages, separated by a vertical bar.
Depending on the size of the eBook, it can take up to about five minutes before the
reading progress bar and page numbers are displayed. During this time, you can read.
For items you are reading, progress is also displayed in your library (My B&N Library and My
Documents), by appending "on page X of Y" after the author's name.

Page Numbering

Pages in eBooks and periodicals are numbered. How the pages are numbered and displayed on your
differs based on the file format of the digital content:
