disposing of dead batteries, be

always observe local laws and
regulations.
• Always charge a rechargeable
battery before using it for the first
time, or if it has not been used for a
long period.
• Rechargeable batteries have a
limited life. When the recorder's
operating time becomes
notably shorter even after the
rechargeable battery is fully
charged under the specified
conditions, replace the battery
with a new one.
