This section will show you how to configure your new D-Link wireless access point using the web-based configuration
utility.
I f y o u w i s h t o c h a n g e t h e d e f a u l t s e t t i n g s o r o p t i m i z e t h e p e r f o r m a n c e o f t h e
DAP-1160 , D-Link has included a configuration utility for this purpose.
After you have completed the initial installation, you can access the configuration menu, at any time, by opening the
web-browser and typing in the IP address of the DAP-1160. The DAP-1160's default IP address is shown below:
Open the web browser
Type in the IP address of the
DAP-1160.(192.168.0.50).
Note: If you have changed the default IP address assigned to the DAP-1160, make sure to enter the correct IP address.
Type admin in the User Name field
Leave the Password blank
Click OK
