Introduction
Noddyʼs magic carpet is a very special interactive play mat and
giant puzzle measuring 1 meter by 1 meter! It can be fixed on a wall to
decorate a bedroom or simply put on the floor for a colourful carpet
and play mat. The mat is made of EVA foam for a safe and comfortable
surface. This magic carpet also features 11 delightful sounds from
Toyland which can be pressed to activate over 20 sound effects
and melodies.

Power Supply

Your Noddyʼs magic carpet works with 2 alkaline 1.5V batteries type AA (not included).
This game must be powered using only the specified batteries.
1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the game
control pad by using a screwdriver.
2. Install the 2 AA alkaline batteries observing carefully the polarity
indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment, and as per
the diagram shown opposite.
3. Close back the battery compartment and tighten the screw.
Do not use rechargeable batteries. Do not recharge the batteries.
Remove the storage batteries before recharging. Recharge
storage batteries under adult supervision. Do not mix different
types of battery and storage battery, or new and old batteries or
storage batteries. Insert batteries and storage batteries according
to the polarity. Remove used storage batteries from game. Do not
short-circuit the battery or storage battery terminals. Keep batteries away from fire. If game
remains unused for an extended period, remove batteries. Only batteries of the same or
equivalent type as recommended are to be used. When the sound becomes faint or the
game does not respond, think about replacing the batteries.

Getting Started

You can find in this gift box:
- 6 large puzzle pieces + 1 interactive middle puzzle piece.
- 12 small extra puzzle pieces + 4 small puzzle corners which
can be put on the outline of Noddyʼs puzzle.
- 4 sets of Velcro.
Fixing the mat on a wall
Your Noddyʼs magic carpet comes with 4 sets of Velcro. Each
strip is double-sided with Velcro on one side and an adhesive
surface on the other. If you wish to fix the play mat to a wall, paste 4 pieces of Velcro
uniformly on the play mat and place a matching Velcro strip on each of the 4 pieces so that
you now have the adhesive surface on top. Then, fix the mat by pressing it on the wall.
Make sure that the adhesive surface is well secured on the wall.

Functions
Your Noddyʼs magic carpet has 3 switches:
On/Off To turn the mat on and off.
SFX/Melody To choose between activating the sound effects or the melodies when an
animation is pressed.
High/Low To switch the volume of the mat between high and low.
Touch-sensitive pictures
11 pictures on the mat can be pressed to activate a sound effect or a melody from the
world of Noddy. Turn the switch to SFX if you wish to hear sound effects or to Melody if
you wish to hear Noddy songs. The 11 interactive areas on the mat are the following:

- The car horn (below Noddy)
- The engine (the car front)

Maintenance

To clean the game, use only a soft cloth moistened with water; do not use any detergent
product. Do not expose the game to direct sunlight or to any other source of heat. Do not
get the game wet. Do not dismantle or drop the game. Remove the batteries if the product
is not going to be used for an extended period of time.
