Swivel Mount MZG 415
The swivel mount gives the possibility to use the desk stand together
with the microphone clamp or the shock mount for the MKH 406.
Desk Stand MZT 441
The MZT 441 is together with the swivel mount MZG 415 and the
microphone clamp MZQ 415 or the shock mont MZS 415 a stable
desk stand for the MKH 406 P 48.

Le MKH 406 P 48 se caracterise par sa bande passante large, sa

la frequence.

Desk Stand MZT 100
This sturdy and stable desk stand with its highly effective sound
insulation is especially weil suited to those recording situations in
which knocks and handling noise are unavoidable e. g. open deba-
tes etc. Used in conjunction with the MZG 415 and the MZQ 415.
Windshield MZW 30
The foam-rubber-windshield should be drawn over the soud inlets
of the microphone when wind disturbances and evident. Largest
diameter 60 mm. Length 80 mm. Reduction of wind disturbances
approx. 20 dB.

Power supply unit for 48V phantom powering according to DIN
45596. The MZN 16 P 48 has been especially designed for the con-
denser microphones ... P 48 whilst the MZN 16 P 48-U is intended
for the condenser microphones ... P 48-U. Two microphones can be
powered simultaneously from each supply unit. Dimensions:
168x 120x50 mm.

Connecting Cable KA 1 und KA 7
Tripie conductor shielded cable fitted with 3-pin standard plug
according to DIN 41 524 and 3-pin standard socket. Suitable for
MKH 406 P 48.
Length of cable KA 1: 1.5 m. Length of cable KA 7: 7.5 m.
Connecting Cable KA 7-U
The cable is fitted at one end with a Cannon coupling and at the
other with a Cannon plug connector. It is suitable for (e. g.) connec-
ting the MKH 406 P 48-U to the power supply unit MZN 16 P 48-U.
Cable length: 7.5 m.
Montage haute frequence
Contrairement au montage basse frequence, la capsule d'un micro
electrostatique Eihaute frequence presente une faible impedance. A
la place de la tension de polarisation relativement elevee, la capsule
n'est soumise qu'Ei une faible tension inferieure Ei 10 volts, foumie
par un oscillateur (8 MHz) Eifaible bruit de fond. La faible impedance
du systeme mene Eiune haute fiabilite des microphones, particulie-
rement au cas des prises de son EiI'exterieur aux conditions climati-
ques extremes.
Connecting Cable KA 7 UN
Suitable for all Sennheiser microphones equipped with XLR-connec-
tors (Cannon). The cable is fitted with a 3-pin XLR-connector on one
end and a 3-pin screwable standard plug (e. g. T 3260001) on the
other end. Length: 7.5 m.
Alimentation et branchement
Tous les micros electrostatiques de Sennheiser electronic avec la
designation MKH . . . P 48 and P 48-U sont alimentes par circuit
fantarne selon DIN 45596. Le courant passe par les deux conduc-
teurs de modulation, le courant de retour par le blindage.
Pour le branchement de ses microphones electrostatiques, Senn-
heiser utilise, comme pour les microphones dynamiques, le principe
d'adaptation en tension. Cela signifie que I'impedance d'entree de
I'amplificateur est beaucoup plus elevee que celle du micro de teile
sorte que celui-ci marche presque Eivideo Oe ce fait, ni les variations
d'impedance du microphone, ni celles de I'amplificateur n'ont d'in-
fluence sensible sur la courbe de reponse. L'impedance de source
des microphones electrostatiques Senn heiser Eialimentation fan-
tarne est tres faible, environ 10 Q Ei 1000 Hz. La seule exigence
posee Ei I'amplificateur est d'avoir une im.pedance d'entree d'au
moins 200Q.
Si toutefois, votre amplificateur presente une impedance inferieure,
il faut choisir une resistance additionelle convenant pourque le
micro «voie» au moins 200 Q. La division de tension qui en resulte
doit evidemment etre prise en consideration. La meme methode est
employee si on a besoin d'une impedance micro plus elevee. Dans
ce cas aussi, une resistance additionnelle mene Eiune adaptation
correcte.
