General information

Precautions and information before connecting
Make sure that your home mains voltage complies with the voltage indicated on the
identification plate.
Protect the enclosures against any heat source (fire place) and any equipment creating
powerful electromagnetic fields (loudspeakers, etc.).
When you take your equipment into a heated room after it has remained in a cold
environment (example: transport in winter), wait until the condensation moist has
disappeared before putting the equipment into operation.
In the event of malfunction of your equipment, disconnect it from the mains for a moment.
Your equipment was not designed for professional operation, but for home use only.
Neither should you open the housing yourself nor remove any of the internal parts, as this
might damage some fragile components and expose you to dangerous shock voltage.
When not using your loudspeaker enclosures for a long period of time, we recommend
that you remove the batteries.
When cleaning the enclosures, use a soft damp cloth only. Prior to cleaning, disconnect
them from the mains.
Never use detergents or solvents. Should you nevertheless wish to use a particular cleaning
product, we recommend that you try it first on an invisible area (underside).
Important information concerning batteries
• Do not mix different types of batteries or new and old batteries. Do not use
rechargeable batteries. In order to avoid any risk of explosion, observe polarities
indicated inside the battery compartment. Replace only with the type of batteries
specified above. Do not throw them into fire, do not recharge them. If you are
not using the remote control for a long period of time, remove the batteries.
• Please respect the environment and prevailing regulations. Before you dispose of
batteries ask your dealer whether they are subject to special recycling and if he
accepts to take them back.
