2.7 Connectors and Headers

Power Connections
ATX Power Supply Connector (JPWR1)
The 24-pin power supply connector (JPWR1) meets the ATX power specification. You must
also connect the 8-pin 12V DC power connectors (JPWR2/JPWR3/JPWR4) to the power
supply to provide adequate power to your system.
Important: To provide adequate power supply to the motherboard, be sure to connect
the 24-pin ATX power connector and the 8-pin power connectors to the power sup-
ply. Failure to do so may void the manufacturer warranty on your power supply and
motherboard.
