IF BOARD

The
IF circuit operates only during reception.
Transistors
Q1 and Q2 amplify the receiver's second IF signal, coming
from
the XF
board,
and pass the signal to the balanced
detector.
The board also holds the S-meter amplifier, Q3 and 04, and
the time-constant
circuit, Q5 and Q6, which
controls the
AGC.
