TROUBLESHOOTING
Incorrect operations are often mistaken for trouble and malfunctions. If you think that there is something wrong with this
component, check the points below. Sometimes the trouble may fie in another component. Investigate the other components
and electrical appliances being used.
If the trouble cannot be rectified even after exercising the checks listed below, ask your nearest PIONEER authorized service
center or your dealer to carry out repair work.

* Repiace the tape with a recorded one.

The recording indicator does
not light up
The cassette erasure prevention tabs are
broken.

* Cover the hole under the tab (see page

The level meter does not
work
* The REC LEVEL control is set too low.
* The amplifier is not delivering a recording
signal (from the tuner, CD player, etc.}.
