♦ All warnings are given by blinking the indicators on
the CENTIC pane! and in the viewfinder.
♦ The out-of-metering range warning means the subjects is
too bright or too dark to be measured with the camera's
built-in exposure meter.
♦ The out-of-coupling range warning means the current
combination of shutter speed and aperture cannot be used
even if it is vyithin the metering range.
♦ See page 38 for the metering and coupling ranges.
♦ The symbol [
] in the table at left indicates blinking.
How to photograph a subject in the out-of-metering
range
• If the subject is too bright, use ND filters (available
commercially).
• If the subject is too dark, you will have to use a flash
or other lighting equipment.
