Scanning the Beginning of Each Marking Position - Index Scan
You can scan the begining of each marking position in succession. Use the Remote Commander. To view
the index number on a TV, press DISPLAY.
(1) Press INDEX on the Remote Commander during normal playback or playback pause mode.

) Press -44 or ►►. The tape rewinds or advances rapidly and plays back for approximately 10 seconds
from the point on which the index signal was marked. If you want to continue playback, press O. When
you do not press any button, the tape is automatically scanned to the next program.

Press l> when the desired program starts playback.
To cancel index scan mode
Press O. Normal playback resumes.
