Cautions when installing
Model name
Wall mount
Max. allowable TV weight (kg)
60
Min. distance to the wall (mm)
FRAME TV: At least 3 mm
Models other than FRAME TV: At least 7.5 mm
Installation is not possible if a space greater than the minimum distance is required between the
rear of your TV and the wall (as perpendicular cable connection is required, for example). If you
have purchased a separate wall-mount kit, a holder that allows you to leave a space up to 15 mm
is supplied. Among 2021 TV models, the AU7000 and Q80A
cannot
be wall mounted.
When installing the wall mount bracket, use the supplied components.
Make sure to confirm that the wall is stable. The TV may fall if the wall is weak.
The user's manual and the supplied wall-mount kit contents are applicable to walls made of
common material (wood or concrete).
To install on other types of walls, use of special components or wall
strengthening
work is
required. Make sure to entrust the installation to a professional.
When installing, removing or leveling the wall mount, exercise caution to ensure that an
excessive force is not applied to the TV
screen.
Check your TV's model series. Then use the appropriate preparation methods for the support
frames using the appropriate screws. Otherwise, the TV may fall off the wall.
When installing or removing the wall mount bracket, ensure that the TV is off and at least two
persons work together. If the TV size is 82" or larger, ensure that at least three persons work
together.
Do not install on an excessively tilted wall. The TV may fall off the wall.
When
installing/removing
the wall mount, be careful to ensure that a cable is not damaged.
Take extra care to not step on a cable.
The product or wall may become damaged if you use an excessive force when tightening
screws.
Actual minimum distance between the TV and wall may increase by 2-3 mm or more, depending
on the wall condition and installation conditions.
When installing the wall mount, if the TV is too close to a wall, scratches may occur on the back
of the TV or on a wall.
If you cannot adjust the horizontal level by using the horizontal adjustment function, check if
the installation was done properly.
The maximum leveling angle is 1-2 degrees. If leveling more than the maximum is required,
re-install the wall mount bracket.
Make sure to confirm that the hook on the wall mount has been inserted all the way in. If
it
is not
inserted all the way in, the TV may fall off the wall.
When removing the TV from the wall mount, first remove the cables to ensure the protection of the
cables.
Do not penetrate the wall to install inside. The TV may become overheated and malfunction.
When removing the TV from the wall, make sure 2 people lift it up together. Do not apply
direct force on the display. If the TV
size
is 82" or larger, ensure that at least three persons work
together.
Be sure that the TV and wall mount stand are not hit with excessive force after installing the wall
mount. The wall mount or TV may be damaged or the TV connection with the wall mount device
may become unstable.
In
this case, reinstall the wall mount or consult an expert for assistance.
To maintain product performance and prevent malfunctions, do not
install
in the following
locations.
- Places where there is a risk of vibration or shock: The product may fall and be damaged.
-
Next to a sprinkler sensor: The sensor may detect the heat from the TV and sprinklers may
start.
- Near high-pressure cables: The TV may get interfered by high-pressure cable and the screen
may not display correctly.
-
Near
heaters:
The TV may become overheated and malfunction.
- Do not
install
anywhere other than a vertical wall.
- Children may swallow a component or cause damage to the TV. Ensure that it
is
kept out of
reach of children.
-
Do not penetrate the wall to install inside. The TV may become overheated and malfunction.
