I f a programmed recording action is due

within 2 hours when the panel noise clear-
ing has started, the manual panel noise
clearing does not start; it starts when the
TV is switched to stand-by mode.
P anel noise clearing lasts about 1.5 hours.

The TV should be in stand-by mode during
this period.
W hen the panel noise clearing is con-

firmed, leave the TV in stand-by mode; do
not unplug it.
T he stand-by LED flashes during the panel

noise clearing.
A t the end of the panel noise clearing, a

white vertical line moves on the screen.
O nce the panel noise clearing has been
7
performed, the TV remains in stand-by
mode. When it is turned on, information
about whether the operation has succeed-
ed is displayed on the screen.
