Caption/Text

Use to turn on and select on-screen closed
captions or text, instead of sound

Press MENU repeatedly to place the Special
(features) menu on the TV screen.

Use the Up or Down select arrow to
highlight the Caption/Text option.

Use the Left or Right adjust arrow to
choose:
Off, C1, C2, T1, T2.

Another method of choosing captions, or
text is to press CC on the remote to access
the Caption/Text menu. Press repeatedly to
choose one of the options.
If a closed caption option is available on the broad-
cast, it will probably be Caption 1.
Be certain that the program you are watching has
closed captions or text available. Check the local TV
listings to determine if closed captions or text are
available on the broadcast.

C1, C2, T1, T2
C1 - Closed Captions 1, C2 - Closed Captions 2, T1 - Text 1, T2 - Text 2.
CAPTIONS
Words that appear on the TV screen as a substitute for the audio track (instead of sound), for the hearing
