4. Troubleshooting
LD Board Troubleshooting
1.
Force on the backlights.
2.
Check the fuses (F3001, F5001, F5101, F5201, F5301, F5401, F5501, F5601) on either side for approximately 30 Vdc;
if abnormal, suspect a defective panel, SMPS or LD.
3.
Check the negative pins on CN9005 ~ CN9014 for approximately 1Vdc (due to forced operation).
LD Board/Panel Troubleshooting
1.
Verify SMPS Vdrv 30 Vdc to LD Board (CN9001).
2.
Unload the LD Board by removing the cables connected to CN9005 ~ CN9014.
3.
Check the
fuses
on either side for approximately 30 Vdc (only when LD Board is UNLOADED).
4.
If voltage is 30 Vdc on all 5 fuses, panel is likely defective.
5.
If voltage is low on any fuse, LD Board is likely defective.
