Route and connect the backrest actuator cable (1) to both
the control box and the backrest actuator.
5.
Route and connect the leg section actuator cable (4) and
the thigh section actuator cable (3) to both the control box
and the correspondent actuators.
6.
Route all the coiled cables through the hoop located in the
underside of the seat section.
For beds with digital electronics and shear arms
dismountable from the base, the control box is
attached to the base of the bed (on the opposite s ide
of the height adjustment actuator). The routing of the
cables is c ommon to all bed configurations.
7. Before using the bed:
Check the wiring by operating the motors of the bed
l
to their outer positions.
There is no risk of squeezing the wires when correctly
l
i nstalled.
It is normal for cables to stretch slightly after
l
some usage.

The wires are equipped with plugs at both ends and
can be replaced independently.
NOTICE!
IP Protection
The Hand Control, Control Box and Motors are
protected according to IPx6 or IPx6w.
— To guarantee the IP protection, you must i nstall
and close the lid of the Control Box c orrectly.
3.9 Storage of disassembled bed on
base frame
WARNING!
Risk of personal injury or damage to property
If the distance pin is not properly attached bed parts
may fall off the trolley.
— Make sure the distance pin is correctly
attached between the mattress support
sections before hanging anything on the h ooks.
Mounting the parts on the base frame
1. Lock the brakes.
2. Use the hand control to lower the shear arms
completely down.
3. Disconnect the plug from the mains.
4. Place the power wire and the hand control securely
around the shear arms.
5. Hang one mattress support section on each side, on t he
hooks on the base frame.
6. Lift the distance pin out of its place holder B and s wing it
over to the opposite side.
7. Place the motor wires around the slats on each m attress
support sections.
