Lower Thread Tension
Tensiön del hilo inferior
Lower thread tension has been al-
ready adjusted for general use atthe
factory before shipment, but when
sewing extremely thin or heavy ma-
terial, it also requires adjusting the
lower thread tension.
To regulate the lower thread ten-
sion, turn small screw on the ten-
sion spring of the bobbin case with
the small screw driver.

O To increase tension :
Turn the small screw clockwise
very slightly.
© To decrease tension :
Turn the screw counterclockwise
very slightly.
PERFECT STITCHING
The tension of the upper and lower
threads
should
be equal and just
sufficiently
strong
to
lock
both
threads in the center of the work.
Perfect stitch
shows
flat and
no
puckering result on the material.
La tensión del hilo inferior ya ha sido
ajustada en la fábrica para trabajos
normales, pero para coser tejidos
extremádamente gruesos o finos es
necesario reajustarla.
Para ajustar la tensión del hilo infe-
rior, gire el tornillo pequeño en el re-
sorte
de tensión
del portabobina
con el desatornillador pequeño.
O Tornillo de la lata tensora
O Para aumentar la tensión :
Gire el tornillo pequeño en el sen-
tido de las Manecillas del reloj.
® Para disminuir la tensión :
Gire el tornillo pequeño contrario
a las agujas del reloj.
PUNTADAS PERFECTAS
La tensión de los hilos superior e in-
ferior debe ser igual, y justamente
suficiente para que ambos hilos se
traben en el centro de la costura.
Una costura perfecta debe ser recta
en la superficie y no debe tener arru-
gas.
