Connecting the Power
Cable
Make sure that one end of the power cable is
connected securely to the AC inlet socket on the
underside of the piano and that the other end is
plugged into a suitable AC wall outlet.
Important: Make sure that the voltage of the AC
wall outlet matches that marked on the
Disklavier's Serial No. plate.

Opening the Keyboard Cover

Using both hands, carefully raise
the keyboard cover until it rests
on the piano body.

Fold the keyboard flap down on
to the fallboard (DGT2A only).
Closing the Keyboard Cover

Fold up the keyboard flap (DGT2A
only).

Using both hands, carefully close
the keyboard cover.
Note: To protect the keyboard when you're not
playing, keep the keyboard cover closed.
