Quick Start Guide
To install Sonar LE, insert the Sonar LE CD into the computer's CD-
ROM drive and follow the on-screen steps. The Sonar LE installer will
start automatically when the CD-ROM is inserted into the computer.
Next, connect the Samson CO1U/C03U to the computer using the
included USB cable and check to confirm that the microphone's LED is
illuminated.
Launch the Sonar LE software.
Open the Tools>Audio... menu, a dialog box will open, click on the
"Playback and Recording" tab, and under Driver Mode select WDM/
KS. Click on the "Drivers" tab, and highlight the Samson CO1U/C03U
microphone in the Input Driver window. Press Okay.
If you changed your computer's driver setup, you will be prompted
to restart the program to make the changes take effect. Follow the
dialog box instructions to Exit Sonar LE and re-launch the application.
Select or insert (Insert>Audio Track) an Audio track.
Arm the track by clicking on the 'R' located in the channel strip (it will
turn red and the word Arm will light up on the bottom of the window).
If you would like to monitor the track click the Input Echo button in
_the channel strip. Be sure to start with your headphone or speaker
level low to avoid feedback.
Click the dropdown arrow of the Input field in the audio track and
select the "Left Samson CO1U/C03U" option.
