2.4 Installation of Memory Modules (DIMM)
This motherboard provides eight 288-pin DDR5 (Double Data Rate 5) DIMM slots.

1. For Eight channel configuration, you always need to install identical (the same
brand, speed, size and chip-type) DDR5 DIMM groups.
2. Eight Channel Memory Technology is enabled only when 8 memory modules are
installed.
3. It is not allowed to install a DDR, DDR2, DDR3 or DDR4 memory module into a
DDR5 slot; otherwise, this motherboard and DIMM may be damaged.
