Both SIMs can be provisioned with either the same or different mobile carriers. To
enable both SIM profiles at the same time, Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) mode
must be activated. In this mode, both SIMs can connect to the selected mobile
network. For example, you can have two phone lines on your mobile computer
where one is your business number and one is your personal number. You can also
choose which SIM to use for specific actions, such as calls or messaging. These
actions are defined in Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network.
To access the SIM Selection app, swipe up from the bottom of the Home screen to
access all apps then tap SIM Selection
The app home screen shows the current SIM configuration.
Single SIM mode
In the Select New Configs section, you can switch between SIM 1 (nano-SIM card)
and SIM 2 (eSIM).
When Dual SIM Dual Standby mode is turned on, both SIM Slots are shown. In this
mode, SIM Slot 1 and SIM Slot 2 cannot be modified.
