1. Make sure that no persons are in the work area.
2. Make sure that you are above the product when you
operate on a slope.
3. Start the product. Refer to

4. Do a check of the brake function for the drive motor.
Do the procedure that follows.
a) Operate the product on a slope.
b) Release the joysticks.
c) For DXR 95: Make sure that the product moves
slowly. For DXR 145, DXR 275, DXR 305, DXR
315: Make sure that the product brakes and
stays stationary.
5. Do a check of the brake function for the slew motor.
Do the procedure that follows.
a) Operate the product on a slope.
b) Turn the arm system.
