Queue Manager

Xerox DocuTech 75/90 and DocuPrint 75/90
DocuSP 2.1 to 3.6 Differences Document
The Queue Manager has not changed significantly from DocuSP
2.1. When Queue Manager is selected, the work area displays
the list of defined queues and associated properties.
To create a new queue, either click the right mouse button in the
window, or select the New Queue button in the lower corner of
the screen.
Ø New queue properties include:
·
Mixed Stock Size selection – Refer to the explanation
under Job Properties for a detailed explanation of this
feature. Setting this feature on a queue requires that all jobs
submitted to the queue fit the stock size parameters
necessary for the mixed stock selection.
·
Auto Proof – Setting Auto Proof as a queue property will
automatically proof all jobs submitted to the queue. The
proof quantity, the number of sets that are printed for a proof
job, can be changed in Preferences, Job Policy.
·
PostScript/PDF Start file – This option allows the users of
VIPP to load the VIPP start file onto the DocuSP controller
and have it automatically added to any VIPP jobs. Be sure
the queue is set for a default document format of PostScript.
The VIPP startup file must be copied into the directory
/var/spool/XRXnps/vipp.
·
TIFF decomposer settings – Allows the user to set the
resolution at which TIFF files will be processed.
