Recommended minimum distance between portable or mobile RF communications devices
and the RadiForce LS580W
The RadiForce LS580W is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which interference
due to electromagnetic radiation is controlled. For other portable and mobile RF communication de-
vices (transmitters), the recommended minimum distance between the portable and mobile RF com-
munication devices (transmitters) and the monitor applies as listed below. This is based on the maxi-
mum output power of the communication device.

For transmitters whose maximum nominal output power is not shown above, the recommended mini-
mum distance "d" in meters (m) can be determined using the formula for calculating the frequency of
the transmitter. "P" here stands for the transmitter's maximum measured nominal output power in
watts (W), as recommended by the transmitter's manufacturer.
Note: For 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the recommended minimum distance for the higher frequency
range applies.

tures, objects, and people impact the propagation of electromagnetic waves.
