Prepare the lens cap
Preparing the Camera
• Attach the cord to the lens cap. and
pass the grip belt through the loop on
the cord.
• Hook the lens cap on to the grip belt
while you are recording, and place it
over the lens when you have finished.
Adjust the viewfinder
Turn the camera on, pull the
eyepiece straight out until it stops,
raise the viewfinder and turn the
viewfinder focusing wheel until the
viewfinder di plays are clearly
focused.
The viewfinder rotates through 90°
to give a choice of shooting
positions. Store the camera with the
viewfinder in its retracted and
lowered position.
To view recording with the
viewfinder, make sure the LCD
panel is either turned in the direction
of the lens, or totally closed with the
screen facing inwards.
