Park and Page

With the Park and Page feature, you can park active calls and announce the parked call to the
other users with an audio alert. Park and page use a set of park slot numbers configured by your
phone administrator. When you park a call, you or any other user who receives the page can dial
that park slot number to retrieve the call.

Parking and paging an active call

About this task
You can park an active call at a parking slot number and then page to describe the parked call to
the page target group.
You cannot use this feature while on an active conference call.
Before you begin
Ensure that your administrator enables the feature.
Ensure that you are on an active call.
Procedure
1. Press the Main menu while on an active call and scroll to Features.
2. Press Select.
3. Scroll to ParkAndPage and press Select.
The phone parks the call to one of the parking slots. You receive an indication of the
assigned parking slot on the phone screen. For example, Park (*803), where 803 is the
assigned parking slot.
The phone is in the page mode.
4. Select the required page target group to send a page and press Page.
The phone pages the parked call details to the page target group.
If the call is not retrieved within a specified time, the parked call returns to the original
extension as a Return Parked call.

Receiving a page call

About this task
If you receive a page, the phone automatically answers the call and displays the page details on
the phone screen.
You cannot use the following features on a paged call:
• Conference
• Hold
• Transfer
