Electrode position

Before fixing the burner to the boiler, check the
correct positioning of the electrodes as in Fig. 18.

Central gas adjustment

As you can see in Fig. 19 the gas flows through the combustion
head in two different ways:
 external gas flows from the pipes 1) that surround the head;
 central gas flows from the tube 2) and then through the pla-
tes 3) behind the flame disc.

Central gas setting

The factory setting for the central gas is with the following passa-
ge holes of the disc 1) in Fig. 20.
RS 68/EV O2 ULX
7 mm
RS 120/EV O2 ULX
10.5 mm
RS 160/EV O2 ULX
8 mm
RS 200/EV O2 ULX
9 mm
If necessary, modify as indicated in the paragraph "Firing rates"
on page 9 and replace the disc 1) as follows:
 loosen the screws 2);
 change the regulator disc 1) with the one supplied as equip-
ment for the following models:
RS 68/EV O2 ULX
8 mm
RS 120/EV O2 ULX
12.4 mm
RS 160/EV O2 ULX
9 mm
RS 200/EV O2 ULX
12.4 mm
 tighten the screws 2).
