• Repleni sh Fuel i n tank wi th clean , fresh supply of R egul ar Gr ade, non-leaded or leaded gasol i ne .
• Check oil l evel in dr iven equiFment to make sure adequate lubrication i s available .
• Check safety guar ds to make sure al l are in pl ace and secure .

The fol l owing pr ocedure applies t o most appl ications .
• DISENGAG E DRIVE declutch or shi f t i n neutral.
• SET HAND BRAKE on units so equi pped.
• TURN FUEL O N at fuel shut-off valve if so equi pped .
STEP 1. Close throttl e to the idle position.
STEP 2.
On
engines with manual choke cont r ol close choke valve wi t h cold engine - - if restarting Harm engine ,
little or no choking re quired .
STEP 3. Tum ignition switch on i f unit so equipped or m ove key and hold in Start pos i t i on unti l engine
st art s - -released key wi l l automat ical l y r eturn to run position. W i t h push button st art ing, pr ess
and hold switch until engi ne star t s . (see pr ecautions under "Star ting Mot or") .
STEP 4. R eturn Choke gradual l y to open position as engine warms up.
