Before connection
•Do not connect the AC power supply cord until all other con¬
nections are complete
•To prepare the AM loop antenna, speaker cords and FM an¬
tenna, twist the vinyl tip and pull off

FM antenna.
Rx the other end of the antenna where reception is best

AM loop antenna.
Stand the antenna up on its base
Keep loose antenna cord away from other wires and cords

Speaker cords.
O Center speaker cord
Q Surround speaker cords
Q Front (L/R) speaker cords
Connect the cords to the terminals of the same color

•To prevent damage to circuitry, never short-circuit positive
(+) and negative (-) speaker wires
•Be sure to connect only positive (red or gray) wires to posi¬
tive (+) terminals and negative (black, blue or gray with blue
line) wires to negative (-) terminals

Connect the video connection cord from this unit to your TV
Alternatively, connect through the S-VIDEO OUT terminal if
the TV has an S-VIDEO terminal

AC power supply cord.
The included AC power supply cord is for use with this unit
only Do not use it with other equipment
For your reference
Information you enter into the unit's memory, except for time,
remains intact for up to a month after the AC power supply cord is
disconnected
Optional antenna

Use outdoor antennas if radio reception is poor
FM outdoor antenna
•Disconnect the FM indoor antenna
•The antenna should be installed by a competent technician

Run a piece of vinyl wire honzontaily across a window or other con¬
venient location
Leave the loop antenna connected
Disconnect the antenna when the unit is not in use Do not use the
antenna during an electncal storm
