Troubleshooting
If you run into any problenas
using your camcorder,
use the following
table to troubleshoot

problem.
If tile problem
persists,
disconnect
lhe power
source
and contacl
your Sony
dealer.
The power
does
not turn
on.
• Altach a charged battery
pack to Ihc camcorder
p. 12).
• Use the AC Adaptor

Io a wall outlet (p. 12).
The camcorder
does
not
operate
even
when
the power
is set to on.
• Disconnect
the AC Ad_ptor
l_om the _MI outlet or remove the batter? pack, then reconnect
it
after about 1 minute.
• Press the RESET button
(p. 27) using a sharp-pointed
object. (lf you press the RESET button,
all settings are reset.)
Buttons
do not work.
• During Easy Handycam opcnJtion, not all buttons arc lhnctional
(p. 23).
YOU cannot

on or off.
• During recording
or communicating

from your camcorder
(p. 20).
The camcorder
gets
warm.
• The camcorder
may get warmer
while you use it. This is not a malfunction.

abruptly
turns
off.

5 minutes have elapsed
while you do not operate
your camcorder,
the
camcorder
is automatically
turned off (A.SHUT
OFF). Change
the setting of [A.SHUT
OFF]
