Applications Showcase
Using a private network for internal communications provides many additional features and
capabilities, such as:
Direct Network Station Dialing
A station user can make a call to a station in other systems simply by dialing a station
number just as you would an intercom call within the same system.
Busy Lamp Field (BLF) Presentation
Stations on one node are able to program a busy lamp appearance of an extension on
another node. The BLF can be used to monitor the status of the party at the distant node or
to call the remote extension.
Centralized Attendant Station (CAS) Call
An Attendant call from any node can be routed to the centralized Attendant. This call will be
queued when all centralized Attendants are busy.
DID Routing Across Locations
An incoming DID call can be rerouted to a network call destination that is in another system.
CO Outbound Access/Multiple Location LCR
A sub-system that isn't directly connected to a public network can connect to the PSTN
through either the main-system or another subsystem that has a connection to the PSTN.
This feature enables a user to use the network to reduce call costs by routing outgoing calls
to the nearest appropriate point on the network. The system should provide sufficient digit
translation or string analysis options to enable the switch to route the call correctly.
