3.4.4 - Setting a Password

You control access to the Parental Control features with a password. The default password is "0 0
0 0". You can change the password to any four-digit number.
To change the password:
1. Press the TV component button on the remote control
or select TV by using the TV/Video button on the top
of the TV.
2. Press the MENU button on the remote control and the
Main Menu will be displayed on the screen, as shown
opposite.
3. Press button on the remote control until the
Parental Control menu is highlighted. Then press
SELECT.
4. Press "0 0 0 0" on the remote control as the default
password.
5. Then press SELECT to confirm the selection.
6. Press the button on the remote control to open the
PASSWORD sub menu.
7. Enter your old password. Then press SELECT.
8. Enter your new password. Then press SELECT.
9. Enter the new password again in the Confirm area.
10. Press the MENU button repeatedly to exit the OSD.
Note: Please make sure to write down and store the new password in a secured place. The
default option in the OSD menu (see section 3.4.2.1.3 - OSD Menu, p. 25) does not reset the
password.
