On the PDR-M3, pressing the shutter button down half way
locks the focus and exposure settings (AF and AE lock). If
you want to focus on a subject that is not centered in the
frame or change the picture composition after the exposure is
set, you can obtain good results by changing the composition
after the AF and AE settings are locked.
A PC card (type II) that conforms to the ATA PC Card
Standard.

This refers to the phenomenon whereby people's eyes
sometimes appear red in the picture when you use a flash to
photograph them in low-light conditions. This is caused by
the light of the flash reflecting off the inside of the eye. To
minimize the likelihood of the red-eye effect, take the
foliowing precautions when you take the picture:
@ Use Red-Eye Reduction mode.
® Get the subjects to look at the camera.
@ Get as close as possible to the subjects.
