This item appears only when a "Memory Stick Duo" is inserted in tile camera.
Furnmls the "Memory Stick Duu". A cummercially available "Memory Stick Duo" is already
formatted, and can be used immediately.
• Note that Ibrmatting irrcvocably erases all data on a +'MemoryStick Duo", including even protected
images.
The message "All data in Memory Stick will be erased Ready?" appears.

Creates a flflder in a "Memory Stick Duu" for recording images.
The folder creation screen appears.

A new fulder is created with a numher incremented one higher
than the largest number, and the lk)lderbecomes the current
recording lblder.
Cancels fulder creation.

• When not creating a new lolder, the "101MSDCF' h)ldcr is selected as the recording lblder.
• You can create lblders designated up to "999MSDCE _'
• hnages are recorded in the newly created 1older until a dil]crcnt li)lder is created or selected.
• You cannot delete a lblder wilh the camera. To delete a ti)lder, use your compuler, etc.
• Up to 4,000 images can be stored in one lbkler. When lhe lblder capacily is exceeded, a new Iolder is
automatically created.
