pg cautions concerning the
moving of the unit
CAUTION:
Before moving the unit, do the following to ensure the disc trays are
empty.
Failure to do so will risk severely damaging the discs and the unit.
Press [DISC EXCHANGE].
The unit comes on automatically and the drawer is opened.
The disc tray that was in the play position comes to the front-
left position.

Press [DISC SKIP] to rotate the disc

trays and remove the discs from all

the disc trays.

Press [4 OPEN/CLOSE] to close the
drawer.

Press [POWER ()/i] to turn the unit
off.
lf you pressed the wrong button, repeat the procedure from step 1.

To clean this unit, wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
if the surfaces are extremely dirty, use a soft cloth dipped in a soap-
and-water solution or a weak detergent solution.
@Never use alcohol, paint thinner or benzine to clean this unit.
*Before using chemically treated cloth, read the instructions that
came with the cloth carefully.

Choose discs with these marks EJ

However, do not use irregulaly shaped discs, such as heart-shaped.
(Discs of this sort can damage the unit.)
E How to hold a disc
Do not touch the recorded surface. D
E If the surface is dirty
Wipe it with a damp cloth and then wipe dry. B
E if the disc is brought from a cold to a warm
environment, moisture may form on the disc
Wipe with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth before using the disc.
E Handling precautions
e Do not write on the label side with a ball-point pen or other writing
instrument.
Do not use record cleaning sprays, benzine, thinner, static electric-
ity prevention liquids or any other solvent.
Do not attach labels or stickers to discs. (Do not use discs with ex-
posed adhesive from tape or left over peeled-off stickers.)
Do
not use scratch-proof protectors or covers other than those
specified for use with this unit.
E Do not place or store discs in the following
places
Locations exposed to direct sunlight
@Humid or dusty locations
*Locations directly exposed to a heat vent or heating appliance
