PLU 5 - Way point Projection
The NAV 1000 PLU will calculate the latitude and longitude of a
remote destination based on a relative distance and bearing that you
enter.

(or PLU and five presses
of the RIGHT ARROW key)
then the ENTER key to
bring you to this function.
Press the RIGHT ARROW
key to select a saved
position.
Warning: LA TFX is not your current position if you have
moved since taking the latest position fix.
The selection of positions you may select appear in this sequence:
• Last fix (LA TFX)
• The backup fixes (FIX -2, FIX -3, FIX -4, FIX -5, IN IT)
• The initialized position (INIT)
• Waypoints (in alphabetical order).
Enter your estimated
distance to the destination.
