Style Variation and Fills
Every ep Music Style contains an Original and a Variation rhythm arrangement which can be used to add
variety to your performances.
With any Music Style playing ...
Press the Fill In [To Variation] button (left side of the panel).
This triggers a short fill-in break before leading into the Variation arrangement of the Music Style. When
used at musically appropriate moments, this function can enhance your performance by heightening the
energy level!
* The fill-in function of the ep is really very clever! Regardless of when within the bar you press the
[To Variation] or [To Original] button, the ep will create the perfect length of fill-in!
You can switch back to the previous arrangement by pressing [To Original].
Feel free to experiment — it's really the only way to get the most from your ep!
* Note that these buttons trigger a fill-in pattern before changing to the Variation rhythm arrangement. The
[Style Variation] button (below the Music Style Section) does not — it instantly switches to the Variation
pattern.
* If the Original rhythm arrangement is playing and you press [To Original], a fill-in will be played and the
Original rhythm arrangement will then continue. This is also true of the Variation rhythm arrangement.
Press [Start/Stop].
